“The Expendables 4” theatrical release revealed: Then comes the action fireworks with Sylvester Stallone and Co

The “Expendables” series has now arrived at the fourth film. In the latest installment, the mercenary group led by Sylvester Stallone’s Barney Ross gets caught up in a nuclear conflict between the US and Russia. As in the previous parts, fans can look forward to exciting action sequences.
There is finally a start date for “Expendables 4”: As Deadline reports, Lionsgate has announced that the action film will start in US cinemas on September 22, 2023. So “Expendables” fans have to wait less than a year until it continues with Barney Ross, Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Gunner Jensen (Dolph Lundgren) and Co. The film was originally supposed to start this year before being postponed indefinitely to September 2023.

Newcomers to “Expendables 4” include 50 Cent and Megan Fox (“Transformers”). Also joining The Raid star Iko Uwais as the villain and Andy Garcia (“Ocean’s Eleven”) as a CIA agent. For action veteran Sylvester Stallone, the fourth “Expendables” film will be the last in the series. A few months ago, the actor said goodbye to his fans and hinted that Jason Statham’s character would take the lead.
The shooting of “Expendables 4”, directed by Scott Waugh (“Need for Speed”) has already been completed since the end of 2021, which is why fans have been patiently waiting for the theatrical release for a long time. After all, there is already a first teaser trailer, which was only shown to a private party at the CinemaCon in Las Vegas some time ago. It will certainly be a while before we are allowed to see moving images ourselves.
